Co-Founder & PartnerA founding partner of Lanyon, Katie Doran is one of the most experienced communications specialists in Northern Ireland. She has over twenty years’ experience advising many of Northern Ireland’s leading firms across a multitude of sectors. These include law and accounting firms, financial institutions, utilities, charities, technology companies and real estate investors.
She regularly acts as a strategic advisor to CEOs and senior leaders across a range of internal and external communication themes, including strategy, culture, leadership communications, stakeholder engagement and issues management.
Katie has acted as a lead advisor on a number of high profile serious situation issues, and is regarded as a “go to” person for issues management in Northern Ireland. She is also widely renowned for her knowledge of the real estate investment sector and placemaking and has unparalleled expertise and experience in working closely with institutional investors and developers across office, residential, mixed use and regeneration developments in the UK and Ireland.
Katie is a member of the Connect Leadership Team at Catalyst Inc, the Communications Leadership Group at Business in the Community, and she also sits on the CBI Economic Affairs Committee in NI.

He advises clients on a wide range of issues to support their business growth and success – including PR and media relations; public affairs; employee engagement and cultural change management; stakeholder engagement; reputation/crisis management; and sponsorship/partnership management.
His client portfolio at Lanyon includes A&L Goodbody; Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council; Belfast Harbour; the Centre for Advance Sustainable Energy (CASE) at Queen’s University Belfast; Mid & East Antrim Borough Council; McDonald’s UK and Ireland; NIE Networks; the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) and the UK Covid-19 Inquiry.
Jonathan sits on the Boards of The Grand Opera House Belfast, Crimestoppers and CRY Ireland in Dublin. He is a School Governor at Strathearn School in Belfast.
