CBRE NI management team completes management buy-out of Belfast office from CBRE UK

The Northern Ireland management team of CBRE has completed a management buy-out of the firm from CBRE UK.

The NI management team, which is led by Brian Lavery, Robert Ditty and Gerard McCann, has arranged an agreed structure which will allow for operational flexibility, whilst retaining its position as an affiliate of CBRE.

Brian Lavery, Managing Director at CBRE Northern Ireland, commented: “We are pleased that this restructuring will give us more autonomy over the running of our NI business, whilst at the same time retaining the benefits of remaining part of the world’s largest commercial real estate consultancy, with all of the resources and research at its disposal.

“There will be no change in the unrivalled services we offer to our clients and we intend to grow the Belfast office further in the coming months and years.”

The new structure took effect on 1st January 2021.
