KPMG appoints four new Partners as growth continues

   

KPMG in Northern Ireland has appointed four new Partners to its Belfast office as the firm’s growth continues apace.

Neil O’Hare has been promoted to Partner in Deal Advisory; Ashleen Feeney has a been promoted to Partner in NI Markets; Dominic Mudge has been promoted to Partner in Audit; and Paddy Doherty has been promoted to Partner in Tax.

The new Partner appointments come just after the firm announced a record intake of graduates, with 35 joining the Belfast office in September.

Neil O’Hare, Partner, Deal Advisory

Neil has over 20 years of experience advising on corporate mergers and acquisitions, specialising in financial due diligence reviews, commercial appraisals and business investigations across a wide range of industry sectors, including advising on some of the largest and highest profile corporate transactions in Northern Ireland over recent years.

Ashleen Feeney, Partner, Markets - NI

Ashleen has a background in infrastructure financing and has provided commercial and financial advice on over £1bn of economic and social infrastructure projects delivered in Northern Ireland over the last decade. Ashleen also led the KPMG team engaged by Belfast City Council to assist develop the Belfast Region City Deal proposal that secured £350m of investment from the UK Government. The focus of Ashleen’s role as Partner – NI Markets is to continue to create new business opportunities to drive further growth for KPMG in Northern Ireland.

Dominic Mudge, Partner, Audit

Dominic specialises in providing audit and accountancy services across a range of industries, both in the UK, Ireland and globally. He works with some of the largest companies in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and has specific expertise within the Utilities and Infrastructure industries, working extensively with a number of regulated entities in the gas, water and electricity sectors.

Paddy Doherty, Partner, Tax

Paddy is a member of KPMG’s Private Enterprise team and has over 20 years’ experience advising clients on a wide range of UK and international tax matters. He has extensive experience in tax structuring, tax diligence, international tax planning, property taxation, refinancing and M&A activity.
